Sarcasm doesn't translate well sometimes. I just didn't and still don't know why you're making it personal and banging on me like a douche, when I'm basically arguing the same thing you are, just a different slant. I'm taking the word of people who are enrolled at UT and have classes with Brown, people who have been out in public with Brown, what coaches from both staff's have said about him, and what the writers at the KNS, Volquest, and the AP have said about the guy since he's been there. It doesn't make me right, and you're not either. Neither one of us know jack**** about what the truth is, maybe it's your version, maybe it's mine, maybe it's somewhere in the middle, or something completely different than any of that. All I said was everything I've seen written about or heard 2nd/3rd/4th hand is that he's a good, quiet kid, who his team mates like, and there's not been anything bad said about him since he enrolled.
Wrong again. When Vinson was in trouble 2 years ago, when Rogan was in trouble with academics basically since he showed up, when Kiffin was as some people thought "dragging his feet" on the whole Nukese/Edwards/Jackson fiasco last season, and several other instances (I can site more (Morley) if you want me to continue, but these are 3 for example) Hubbs ragged on the individuals, staffs, and UT each time. He came out 2 years ago and said that Vinson was not a good guy and he though would not finish his time at UT on his own terms. He banged on Fulmer, Kiffin, and UT for letting him stay at UT. Basically the same with Rogan, he said that the kid had had enough chances and wasnt taking advatage of the chance he had and they should cut him lose. On the last situation, he said that Kiffin needed to make a move and was waiting too long to make a statement and it was making the university look bad.
Seeing those 3 situations in the last year with kids still enrolled, coaching staffs present, I don't think he would have cared to say that Brown seemed to be a glory hound, a prima dona, and that he wanted to be guaranteed a starting job.
That's the reason that I keep paying for that site for over 5 years. 95% of the time when that guy says something about recruiting, players, coaches it's dead on. He's honest (up till this point), and I don't get sunshine pumped up my ass. I just want to get as close to the truth as I can.
